HarshTerrain steering arm. CNC machined for a precision fit. The arms are tapered for factory conical washers. Offset to provide additional wheel and tire clearance. These arms come with two pre-drilled with 1/2 inch pilot holes for your steering linkage.

HarshTerrain high steer cross over reverse steering system. This is an excellent setup for rigs with hydraulic steering assist or that are going to have hydraulic steering assist. The tie rod is mounted up and behind the axle which allows the hydraulic ram to be mounted up high in front of the axle. The arms are tapered for factory conical washers. These arms come with 1 inch spacers. The spacers provide additional height so the arms clear the caliper; however, the caliper may need to be ground in some applications. The factory 3 inch studs must be replaced with 4 inch studs due to the spacer. The longer studs are sold separately.

Spacers are often needed in spring over applications to position the arms above the leaf springs to prevent the tie rod and/or drag link from contacting the leaf springs. Spacers are also used to correct or minimize the angle of the drag link between the pitman arm and steering arm. As the angle between the pitman arm and steering arm increases the amount of travel remaining in the drag link ends is reduced. Drag link ends needs need room to articulate during suspension flex.

The holes for the studs are 9/16” and hole pattern matches the Dana Corporations specs. These spacers have the same contour as our Dana 44 / GM 10 Bolt steering arms for a nice clean finish for your steering setup.

4 inch studs are required due to the thickness of the spacers. Stock length 3 inch studs are not long enough.
